Food lovers in Atlanta will soon have a new local event to eat through and size up five local chefs. Atlanta Food Rave will debut at the Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery August 27 from 7 to 11 p.m. The chef lineup will feature Alex Friedman of P’cheen, Delroy Bowen of the Georgia International Convention Center, Keira Moritz of Pacci Ristorante and AltoRex, Lance Gummere of The Shed at Glenwood, and Latoya Starks of Noorish Personal Chef and Catering Services.

The idea is to showcase an eclectic mix of Atlanta’s top culinary talent in an informal nightlife atmosphere at one of the city’s best event galleries. The interactive evening will also feature a premium open bar with signature drinks and live entertainment. The menu will be revealed to attendees upon arrival followed by a chance to vote for their favorite chef’s creations.

Some of the proceeds will go to the Atlanta Community Food Bank, which educates and fights hunger by distributing two million pounds of food and grocery items each month to 700 local non-profit agencies. Tickets to Atlanta Food Rave are $55 per person.
