The Ironman Global Trainer GPS sports a heart-rate monitor, GPS tracking via its SiRFstarIII™ technology, rechargable battery and a 50m water resistancy rating – a crucial feature for triathletes.

Other significant features include the ability to record up to 100 GPS waypoints, recall 50 custom routes, display quad-screen data feedback, measure speed, pace, distance and calorie-burning in real-time, track alititude ascent and descent distances and rates, and set custom heart-rate zones with audible alarms to signal deviation.

The watch retails at $325 from REI and includes a heart rate monitor and desktop software (compatible with Mac & PCs) to track your metamorphasis.
