Netflix Roku

Netflix revolutionized DVD rentals with its mail-order memberships. Now, the company has paired up with Roku to give members a device that can stream movies instantly over the internet to their TV.
The player, which retails for $99 (a one-time fee), grants users access to Netflix’s 12,000-movie and TV show database. The purchase of the Roku player, whose built-in Wi-Fi guarantees portability and ease of use, does not affect mail-in DVD rental or raise the price of qualifying Netflix memberships.
